This picture is from the opening parade of the 32nd Bali Arts Festival 2010 (Pesta Kesenian Bali) on June 12th, at Denpasar, Bali. I just tried to capture the reflection of the marchers on the puddle.

In latin, this kind of walking iris is called Trimezia martinicensis. It has yellow flowers with brown/mahogany splotches on the petals.

The little girl looks like clinging to a vertical surface. Spiderman? Or Spiderwoman? No! It’s just a 90 degrees rotating picture of a girl (and her reflection) that sit on the beach.

Plumeria and the Monument

Bajra Sandhi Monument is located at Renon, Denpasar, Bali. This is built to memorialize the fight of Balinese people against colonialism to get their independence. With plumeria tree in front of the monument, I shot at lower angle to get an impression that the tree is as high as the monument.
